4Ever Young Houston Voss
Houston, TX

info@4everyounghoustonvoss

Key Personnel: Dara Sigloch & Lisa Sigloch

What’s Hot: Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is the most popular treatment for both men and women on the wellness side of 4Ever Young. Patients at 4Ever Young start with a consultation, bloodwork, physical and body composition analysis. The medical team recommends a personalized treatment plan for each patient using HRT to balance and optimize hormones. HRT can increase energy levels and improve sleep quality which can lead to greater vitality and better physical performance. HRT can reduce the risk of heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease and can help prevent bone loss and fractures. Additionally, HRT can help address many common symptoms of menopause such as hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness and irritability, according to the Siglochs.

Consultation is complimentary. Bloodwork ranges from $100-255 and a physical is $125. 4Ever Young monitor spatients closely and require follow-up bloodwork every 90 days to ensure hormone levels are optimized.

What’s Next: Growth Hormone Peptides! Peptide therapy can boost growth hormone production in the body to help slow the process of aging so that you can live your best life. Peptides can help to achieve and maintain a healthy body weight, improve lean muscle mass and help your body burn fat more efficiently. Peptides can also help restore a normal sleep cycle, increase exercise tolerance, improve recovery from athletic performance or injury and can make skin appear firmer or tighter for a more youthful appearance.

Review & Forecast: Despite it being an election year riddled with economic uncertainty, 2024 was 4Ever Young’s first full year of business so it saw considerable growth.

“Although we are seeing more competition enter the marketplace, we remain bullish on our 2025 outlook,” the Siglochs told Happi. “Because we offer both aesthetic and wellness services to help patients look and feel their best, we are the ultimate one-stop-shop offering wellness integration in treatments, focus on regenerative therapies and personalized and customized experiences set us apart from a typical med spa offering only aesthetic services.”

Attune Wellness Med Spa
Stamford, CT and Greenwich, CT
www.attunemedspa.com

Stephanie Joyce

Key Personnel: Stephanie Joyce, founder and CEO

What’s Hot: Botox to smooth away wrinkles and prevent deep lines. Attuned Detox Facial sculpts and redefines facial contours. Hydrafacial Deluxe reveals radiant skin. This patented technology cleanses, exfoliates, extracts and hydrates for a refreshed and rejuvenated complexion.

What’s Not: Filler has gained a mixed reputation recently, and much of this stems from a lack of proper education for clients and cases where injectors create an “overfilled” appearance.

“While we haven’t experienced this issue at Attune, it’s because we prioritize training our team to deliver results that look balanced and natural,” explained Joyce. “At Attune, our focus is on subtle enhancements that align with each client’s unique goals, whether that’s adding volume or achieving refined sculpting, always with a natural-looking outcome in mind.”

What’s Next: “Longevity and wellness really excite me, because they’re all about helping people feel their best, no matter where they are in life,” said Joyce. “At Attune, we’re always looking for ways to go beyond aesthetics and truly support our clients’ overall health. That’s why we’re rolling out services like hyperbaric oxygen therapy and easy-to-understand blood panels.”

These aren’t just fancy add-ons, they’re practical tools to help people better understand their hormones, their health, and what their bodies need at different stages of life, she added.

“What I love about these kinds of treatments is how they make a real difference in people’s lives. It’s not just about looking good; it’s about feeling good and having the energy to enjoy life. For me, there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing someone walk away not only looking refreshed but feeling more in control of their health and wellness. That’s what keeps me excited about this work.”

Review & Forecast: 2024 was an incredible year of growth and opportunity, according to Joyce. In March, Attune opened its Stamford location, and exceeded revenue forecasts.

“It’s clear that people are looking for more than just treatments; they want a space that feels warm, welcoming and balanced, where medical aesthetics and wellness come together seamlessly,” she said.

Looking ahead to 2025, Attune plans to introduce new services, curated experiences, engaging events and health-span treatments designed to support overall well-being.

Blue Water Spa
Southampton /Oyster Bay
BluewaterspaNY.com | Infobluewaterspa@gmail.com

Rachel Lozina

Key Personnnel: Rachel Lozina, licensed esthetician, laser technician and oncology esthetics certified

What’s Hot: Body sculpting with the Icoone machine. $450 per session for a full body treatment. The Icoone is a body remodeling machine that uses vacuum therapy and Roboderm rollers that manually remodel the skin to reduce cellulite, fat pockets, fascia adhesions and stretch marks. It also provides remarkable skin tightening capabilities.

What’s Not: Coolsculpting has fallen out of favor in the past few years because of the adverse side effects stemming from Supermodel Linda Evangelista and her body disfigurement.

“I’ve never offered this service, so I have no first-hand experience, but I have heard lots of negative info about the service in general,” explained Lozina.

What’s Next: Other than GLP-1 movement that is changing everyone’s body, the movement that excites Lozina most is the slow and steady movement that’s starting to gain popularity.

“Clients are moving away from tons of filler and Botox,” she said. “They realize investing in skin products and facials far outweighs aggressive lasers, which are expensive and painful.”

Review & Forecast: In 2024, Blue Water Spa opened a second location in Southampton, so there was a tremendous amount of growth in that capacity.

“I’m expecting a 25% growth for 2025, based on projections from the past few years, post covid-19,” she said.

Contour Aesthetics + Wellness
Mount Pleasant, SC
www.contourlook.com | info@contourlook.com

Micaela Bartash

Key Personnel: Co-Founder Micaela Bartash, MPAS, PA-C, NCCPA Board Certified Physician Assistant

What’s Hot: Neuromodulator treatment. According to Bartash, wrinkle relaxers like Botox are popular because the treatment is quick, virtually painless, kicks in fast, and causes a beautiful softening of fine lines and wrinkles faster than most non-surgical aesthetic medical treatments.

What’s Not: Overfilling with dermal fillers has fallen out of favor in the past couple of years.

“I think that patients are opting for a more natural approach to anti-aging and are choosing collagen banking treatments like microneedling radiofrequency and biostimulatory injectables like Radiesse,” she explained.

What’s Next: Regenerative aesthetics is a really exciting field right now. Skin boosters like Skinvive, PDO afterglow and polynucleotides all use different technologies to hydrate and regenerate the skin with minimal downtime.

Review & Forecast: 2024 was a great year in terms of growth, as Contour brought on some new aesthetic treatments and expanded its team.

“For 2025, we are prioritizing organization and refinement of our processes to become more effective and efficient with our time,” said Bartash.

Gambhir Cosmetic Medicine
Four locations in Pennsylvania
drgambhir.com
info@drgambhir.com

Dr. Anshul Gambhir

Key Personnel: Anshul & Vibha Gambhir, owners

What’s Hot: Botox is Gambhir Cosmetic Medicine’s most popular service. It makes sense, according to Dr. Anshul Gambhir, because the spa provides Botox at a very low price per unit—no minimums or maximums needed—because of the huge quantity purchased from Allergan.

“We are renowned for producing consistent, natural-looking results, reflected by our positive 4.6-star reviews left by more than 1,600 satisfied customers,” said Gambhir. “We are a trustworthy option for wrinkle reduction and preventative treatment, because of our experience and reputation in the community.”

What’s Not: In the past few of years, preventive CoolSculpting has seen a decline in popularity. While it remains a solid option for non-invasive body contouring, the rise of GLP-1 medications, like tirzepatide, has shifted the focus toward overall metabolic health & sustainable weight management, according to Gambhir.

“These medications offer patients a more comprehensive approach to achieving their body goals, rather than just targeting isolated pockets of fat.”

What’s Next: A shift in patient preferences will lead to an increase in demand for natural, regenerative approaches to aesthetics in 2025. Gradual growth is becoming more popular as these treatments improve the elasticity and structure of the skin over time by encouraging the body’s natural production of collagen. At the front of this trend are biostimulators like Sculptra and PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin), which provide novel approaches that yield results that seem natural and last.

“We’re excited to concentrate on these treatments for regeneration, as the new year approaches, enabling patients to accept remedies that enhance their body’s natural functions while enhancing their appearance,” said Gambhir. “These choices are becoming more and more acceptable among patients because they satisfy their need for modest, progressive enhancements that blend in with their natural features and feel authentic.”

Review & Forecast: 2024 was a remarkable year of growth, marked by the expansion to seven office locations! Maintaining quality remains more and more crucial every year as the cosmetics industry continues to grow, yet competition is getting fiercer due to new injectors joining the market.

“As we look ahead to 2025, we’re committed to further expanding our reach and continuing to dominate the region,” he said.

Gene Juarez Salons and Spas
Bellevue, WA
https://genejuarez.com | community@genejuarez.com

Jayla Wiest

Key Personnel: Jayla Wiest, skincare development manager

What’s Hot: The Hydrafacial. This advanced skincare treatment deeply cleanses, exfoliates and hydrates the skin, using patented vortex technology.

“Clients love it for the immediate, visible results and minimal downtime” explained Wiest. Hydrafacials start at $199.00.

What’s Not: Traditional microdermabrasion has been declining over the past couple of years, according to Wiest. That’s because clients want gentler, more advanced treatments like chemical peels or Dermaplane, which deliver better results with less irritation. The overall trend is moving toward non-invasive, yet effective, skincare solutions.

What’s Next: “I’m excited about growth factor technology within the esthetics industry,” she told Happi. Growth factors, from either plant or human cells, are cutting-edge treatments that help improve skin texture, reduce fine lines and accelerate healing post-procedure. By incorporating growth factor-based serums into treatments or as part of personalized homecare, we offer highly effective solutions for achieving youthful, glowing skin.

“This technology represents a significant leap forward in non-invasive anti-aging treatments, and I’m excited to see where the industry goes with this technology,” she said.

Review & Forecast: In 2024, Gene Juarez Salons and Spas experienced steady growth in the spa, driven by the rising demand for customized skincare treatments and advanced technologies. The launch of new facial offerings contributed to that success.

“For 2025, we hope to further our growth by introducing more personalized skincare programs and continued investment in staff education and skills,” said Wiest.

Gregory Dylan Skincare
West Hollywood & Palm Springs, California
gregorydylan.com | info@gregorydylan.com

Gregory Dylan

Key Personnel: Gregory Dylan, owner

What’s Hot: Gregory Dylan’s signature facial, The Grand Prix ($250). It’s a fully customized session that deep cleans, exfoliates and replenishes the skin in about an hour.

“It incorporates my layered exfoliation technique, along with targeted serums and masks along with LED and oxygen therapy,” said Dylan. “The results are fabulous, and my clients love it for their monthly maintenance.”

What’s Not: Dylan stopped offering lash extension services in the past few years. They became too ubiquitous to stay competitive, and clients started to favor tints and perms over the maintenance of lashes.

“I prefer to offer the tints and perms myself, as they incorporate into my other services with more ease,” he said.

What’s Next: Dylan and his colleagues are still excited about the results they have seen with stem cell technology in both retail products and professional services. It’s exciting to see how science and technology can work together and help them garner even better results for clients.

“I also have been impressed by some of the homecare devices that have come available,” said Dylan. “While some professionals might feel they encroach our workspace, some devices can be a great way for clients to maintain the results of their professional treatments at home and help keep a level of commitment.”

While Dylan notes that nothing done at home will give the same results as a professional or medical treatment, they can be fantastic tools for clients to add to their regimens under the proper direction.

Review & Forecast: 2024 was steady but growth was minimal with the state of the economy. It’s also typical to see this during an election year.

“I focused on nurturing my most loyal clientele in my West Hollywood location while marketing for new clients in Palm Springs, my newest location,” he said. “However, I do anticipate higher growth for 2025 and will be focusing on a couple of new product offerings, along with continuing a strong sampling program.”

Naturopathica
New York, NY with spas in New York City, East Hampton, Palm Beach, Aspen and Phoenix
www.naturopathica.com

Cathy O’Brien

Key Personnel: Cathy O’Brien, chief executive officer

What’s Hot: The most popular service is the Defy Facial (HydraFacial). People love the HydraFacial (starting at $285) for its ability to deliver instant, glowing results with no downtime, making it ideal for all skin types and concerns. This non-invasive treatment combines deep cleansing, gentle extractions and powerful hydration with advanced technology to rejuvenate the skin and improve overall texture and tone. With a relaxing, spa-like experience and long-lasting benefits, the HydraFacial is a favorite for achieving healthy, radiant skin effortlessly.

What’s Not: Body treatments are often less booked in spas, due to a lack of awareness about their benefits and how they differ from massages. Many clients prioritize facials or massages, viewing body treatments as a luxury rather than a necessity. It’s important to note that body treatments are highly beneficial; they detoxify, exfoliate, hydrate and rejuvenate the skin while promoting relaxation, improving circulation and supporting overall wellness. We have spent a great deal of energy and training this year in building our Oncology Care Services, which are primarily body treatments that help people going through chemotherapy and radiation. Massage therapy helps reduce stress and muscle tension during this stressful time while promoting relaxation and helping to boost the immune system.

What’s Next: Male-focused offerings. We’ve noticed a lot of growth in treatments specifically designed for men, such as grooming, stress-relief massages and male-focused facials. The increase in men’s wellness offerings is exciting as it reflects a shift toward inclusivity and recognizing men’s interest in self-care. This trend breaks stereotypes and encourages men to embrace a balanced, healthier lifestyle. We host targeted events in our spas and recently hosted one just for men focusing on overarching health and wellness. It was a huge success.

LED and Infrared therapies. Use of infrared saunas, red light therapy and other advanced technologies for skin and body health has been on the rise for a while and we are firm believers in it. LED and infrared therapies are important, because they offer non-invasive solutions for improving skin health, reducing inflammation and relieving pain. These advanced technologies stimulate cellular regeneration, boost circulation, and promote overall wellness without downtime and are great additions to any facial. While we do incorporate that into our facial treatments now as a choice, we are looking at ways to expand that service offering.

Review & Forecast: The most important facet of Naturopathica is our relationship with our customer in the treatment room in the spa. Whether it is with our professional spa partners, or in our own spa environments where we test and try new products and protocols, this is the magic space where the healing power of touch is shared. We finished 2024 with a total of six Naturopathica spas (up from only two the year prior), including spaces in Palm Beach, Aspen and Phoenix. This was an exciting endeavor for us to be able to explore the possibility of extending our reach beyond New York and build communities around the country. As part of that growth endeavor and our Oncology Care Services, we partnered with two leading hospitals—Mount Sinai in New York and Penn Medicine’s Abramson Cancer Center—to offer massage therapy to patients on site as they undergo chemotherapy treatments. Lastly, we expanded our professional field team with new leadership and added territory reach in the field. This year, we will focus on building and growing our existing Naturopathica spas, as well as increasing our field sales team to better serve our professional spa partners.

Penzone Salons + Spas
Dublin, OH 43017
penzonesalons.com | marketing@charlespenzone.com

Debbie Penzone

Key Personnel: Debbie and Charles Penzone, owners

What’s Hot: We have a loyal guest following, and a strong and steady destination-spa business for facials year-round. There’s definite seasonality to other service categories in our spa. We see a surge in hair removal services in the Spring and Summer. We also see an increase in lash and brow services during the summer months and have consistently seen growth as a service category over the past several years. We expanded this category in 2021 with this addition of Eyelash Lift and Tint services and Eyebrow Lamination and Tint services. We’ve seen a bit of a shift in guests wanting more results-oriented, long-lasting services that make living life easier.

What’s Not: Before we rebranded and re-concepted in 2018, we evaluated every service category in both our salon and spa. We observed declining interest in our airbrush tanning services both from guests and artists interested in performing the service. A study also indicated that a universal spa room would be more profitable and better utilized than an airbrush tan room, so the decision was easily made to remove airbrush tanning from our menu.

What’s Next: Base One, our new concept that encourages individuals to ground down and level up their careers and lives with access to education, wellness, events and more, launched in April 2024. Base One is all about forward-looking trends and technologies. We aim to utilize the space to provide training for not only our artists, but others across the country, to elevate the salon and spa industry. We’ve hosted leading educators from Anna Pacitto (Davines) and Stephen Moody (JPMS) to Alastin, one of the fastest-growing physician-dispensed skincare brands, with innovative, scientifically proven and clinically tested products—keeping emerging trends at the forefront of our industry.

Review & Forecast: Last year was a tremendous year of growth in recruiting for our brands. It’s been an all-hands-on-deck effort with our recruiting training, and marketing teams. In July, we launched the New Artist Concept Salon + Spa, completely evolving our training and education program to provide completely customizable training paths for our new hires.

Practise NYC
New York, NY
https://practisenyc.com

Kristyne Smith

Key Personnel: Kristyn Smith, owner

What’s Hot: The Practise Facial is the most popular service. It is a bespoke service and typically includes a cleanse, exfoliation, extractions (optional), light lymphatic massage, LED, mask, hydrate and finished with SPF protection. Prior to the facial, all clients receive a consultation, so the treatment is customized to suit their needs.

“Our specialty is really creating custom experiences for our clients to help them achieve their healthiest skin yet,” said Owner Kristyn Smith.

What’s Not: Physical exfoliation. Clients tend to be more educated on the layers of skin and the external barrier that keeps the internal layers safe and healthy. Many now know that aggressive tugging/ tearing or even over-active ingredients can break down that barrier, allowing harmful substances in and causing a reduction of our natural, healthy “lamellar layer.”

What’s Next: I’m excited that here in the US, we’re finally tapping into skin boosters such as exosomes, salmon DNA and various vitamins. Those all work with the skin to improve cellular function and overall skin health. I believe we’ll continue to see the popularity of this type of advanced technology in delivery systems, so it’s not just the medical professionals who are working with these advanced ingredients. For example, in our NYC clinic, we have a device that utilizes cryo-therapy to freeze spheres of these types of actives and shoot them into the deepest layers of the skin. This provides all the benefits of these actives without any of the downtime that injections require.

Review & Forecast: We have served more new clients than ever in 2024 and are very grateful for the business growth. At Practise NYC we were able to purposefully expand our team to cater to more clients.

Sirius Day Spa, Salon & Med Spa
Lakewood Ranch, FL
www.siriusdayspas.com | lwr@siriusdayspas.com

Karen Medford

Key Personnel: Karen Medford, owner

What’s Hot: Medical services, including injectables and laser services. We live in Florida, where the sun and appearance play a large role in skin damage. Our clientele is leaning toward aesthetics and reversal of skin damage. Our Botox services start at $12/unit for members and $14/unit for nonmembers. Our photofacial/ipl and laser services are priced based on the area. We have seen more chest, neck and arms than in the past.

What’s Not: Body wraps/Scrubs are not as popular as when we started. As of recently, these services have been asked for as an add-on rather than a standalone service. Our clientele wants more of a functional, results-driven service such as a massage to help counteract stress and/or pain.

What’s Next: Hormone Replacement Therapy and weight loss services. These categories treat clients full circle from the inside out.

Review & Forecast: 2024 was still a strong year, just under 2023, which was our best year yet. Due to the economy and election, it was not as good as it could have been. I do expect great things in 2025, however, with the turnaround and purchasing confidence with 2024 behind us.

Tammy Fender Holistic Skin Care
West Palm Beach, FL
www.tammyfender.com

Tammy Fender

Key Personnel: Tammy Fender, owner

What’s Hot: The treatment that everyone talks about, and which we are known for, is the Signature facial treatment with reflexology. It’s a quintessentially holistic experience that brings all-natural illumination to the skin while releasing energetic tension or stagnation in the body, which has a beautiful effect on the emotions and the spirit. Using our phytoactive botanical blends, rhythmic massage, the facial cleanses, nourishes and rejuvenates the skin. When paired with Reflexology, activating reflex points in the feet, these effects are amplified and long-lasting, while the experience itself will lull you into a deep calm, without any sense of fatigue.

What’s Not: We’ve seen the idea of holistic care really take hold in the culture. People understand that services that don’t consider and encompass a holistic point of view are less effective—and less enjoyable. Every service we offer takes a body-mind-and-spirit approach, recognizing that these aspects are so deeply intertwined. Someone might be drawn to one of our newly popular services, like the Manual Lymph Drainage facial, because they want to help detoxify, brighten and tone the complexion, but the experience itself touches every level of care.

What’s Next: I’m deeply fascinated by bio-frequency treatments, which we now offer in the spa. This innovative therapy uses advanced tools like Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy and frequency therapy to help re-establish the body’s own natural harmony, releasing built up tensions or stress. It’s so very relaxing, so on the physical level, and that can feel just great. But in more subtle ways, it also helps make subtle shifts that I’ve seen bring clients into a state of more lightness and expansiveness over the long term.

Review & Forecast: Our spa grew in double digits in 2024. We are expanding and expect to grow double digits again in 2025.

The Spa at Rivet House
Athens, GA
www.rivethouse.com/spa-athens-ga
rivethouse@sprouthouseagency.com

Jessica Whitley

Key Personnel: Jessica Whitley, owner.

What’s Hot: The Rivet House Signature Massage is a luxurious twist on the classic Swedish massage. It combines long, flowing strokes with Thai stretching techniques to deeply relax the body and relieve muscle tension. Clients can personalize their experience by selecting a scent from Rivet House’s aromatherapy oil blends, which further enhances relaxation. According to Whitley, the benefits of this treatment are extensive—improved circulation, reduced stress, increased flexibility, improved mental health by raising serotonin and dopamine levels, and pain management and immunity. The 90-minute version costs $250.

What’s Not: Facials with aggressive exfoliation, like microdermabrasion, have declined in popularity, due to a shift toward gentler, more holistic skincare treatments. Consumers are increasingly prioritizing long-term skin health, and harsh exfoliation can irritate or damage the skin’s natural barrier. According to Whitley, clients prefer facials that hydrate and restore rather than strip away layers of skin. Treatments like Hydrafacials and enzyme-based facials are becoming more popular. They offer more targeted results with minimal discomfort or downtime. There’s a growing interest in technologies that promote collagen production and skin rejuvenation without being invasive or harsh, like LED therapy.

“Ultimately, spa-goers want skin treatments that are effective, soothing and aligned with overall wellness,” she said.

What’s Next: One emerging category that excites Whitley is red light therapy.

“We’ve recently added it to our menu, and it’s been gaining a lot of traction. This non-invasive treatment uses specific wavelengths of light to stimulate collagen production, reduce inflammation and promote skin rejuvenation,” she explained. “Clients love it for its ability to improve skin tone and texture with minimal downtime. Red light therapy is also effective for muscle recovery and pain management, which makes it a great addition to our wellness offerings. As awareness of its benefits grows, we expect demand for it to increase, and we’re excited to continue integrating this innovative therapy into our services.”

Review & Forecast: 2024 has been a strong year for us, especially with the opening of The Spa at Rivet House’s new spa this past summer.

“We’ve seen excellent customer response, strong retention rates and steady growth in both revenue and brand recognition,” said Whitley. “Our focus on personalized, cutting-edge wellness experiences has really resonated with locals and hotel visitors alike. With a growing demand for wellness and self-care, we see 2025 as a year to build on the momentum of 2024 and strengthen our brand presence.”

Woodhouse Spa
87 units across 25 states
www.woodhousespas.com

Michelle Vazquez

Key Personnel: Michelle Vazquez, VP-marketing

What’s Hot: Guests love Woodhouse’s massage services, specifically its Tranquil Stone Massage. It’s a deeply therapeutic, full-body Swedish massage that incorporates heated, soothing Himalayan salt stones for increased circulation, stress relief and reduced tension.

“Our Woodhouse Hydrafacial is also a guest-favorite, as this advanced, high-tech treatment uses a patented Vortex-Fusion system to exfoliate, extract and hydrate the skin, leaving it glowing with no downtime,” said Vazquez.

What’s Not: Four Handed massages, while standard in the industry, have begun to fall out of popularity, as it increases the cost of the service to have two therapists present, according to Vazquez.

“We’ve learned that guests can receive the same level of relaxation and stress relief from a Deep Tissue massage with only one therapist.”

What’s Next: The growth in skincare devices and technology is something we find very exciting, as they offer the high-performance and noticeable results skincare lovers seek. Woodhouse ecently launched the Glacial Gloss facial, featuring the Glacial RX system in select locations, which uses cryogenic technology to help reduce skin conditions like redness and melasma that are caused by skin aging and inflammation.

Review & Forecast: Woodhouse Spas has strong year-over-year growth, due to the strong demand for services and the unique experience the brand offers. Each guest can personalize their experience through many services such as massage, facials, body treatments, nails, retail for at-home services and gift cards.

“In 2024, we saw growth across services and gift cards. Skincare is a key growth area that we’ll continue to focus on in 2025,” said Vazquez. “It’s also where we are innovating to deliver on evolving consumer needs. We are also focusing on enhancements to existing services that can provide additional therapeutic results.”

World Spa
Brooklyn, NY
Worldspa.com

Lenny Vays

Key Personnel: Lenny Vays, managing director

What’s Hot: The Venik Platza Ritual is a traditional Russian bathhouse experience during which guests are massaged with birch, oak or eucalyptus leaves to improve circulation, detoxify the body and promote relaxation. This invigorating treatment helps relieve muscle tension, reduce stress, enhance skin health and improve respiratory function, according to Vays. The ritual also helps to stimulate the immune system and promote overall well-being. It’s a 25-minute treatment with a 1.5-hour access pass, starting from $130 on World Spa’s website.

What’s Next: “One emerging trend that excites us is the growing interest in group wellness experiences like Aufguss,” said Vays. “This sauna ritual, which combines the soothing effects of essential oils with a communal, interactive atmosphere, offers a unique way for guests to connect with others while enhancing their wellness. It’s perfect for groups seeking shared relaxation, stress relief and a sense of togetherness.”

As people continue to prioritize both personal well-being and social connections, Aufguss offers a refreshing and engaging way to experience wellness as a group, according to Vays.

Review & Forecast: In 2024, World Spa saw one of the highest periods of growth in the industry, according to Vays.

“We are seeing more and more people focus on self-care, wellness and wellness experiences,” he concluded. “It’s a wonderful thing to see!”
