Last year during the 72nd Annual Scientific Meeting held at the Sheraton NY Times Square in New York City, the Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC) installed its 2019 board of directors. The board for the current year now consists of president Kelly Dobos, Sun Chemical; vice president Mindy Goldstein, PhD, Mindy Goldstein, Ph.D. Consulting; vice president-elect Liz Streland, Croda; national secretary Michelle Hines, Mary Kay, Inc. and national treasurer Mark Chandler, ACT Solutions. Rounding out the board and serving as area directors are: • Area I—senior director, Kimberly Burch, Elementis Specialties, and newly elected Patricia Singh, Seppic/Air Liquide Healthcare Specialty Ingredients. • Area II— senior director Yulia Park, Amway, and newly elected Christine Daraska, Croda. • Area III—senior directors Karen Chun, Symrise and Jacklin V.
