Grant Industries’s new Gransense TC-55X/C is a bio-based elastomer that imparts a velvety smooth skin feel. It’s the newest edition to the Gransense line of materials that offer formulators a dimethicone alternative.

Gransense TC-55X/C is added to the oil phase of all emulsion types. It is dispersible in a variety of oils, and can be formulated into oil-in-water emulsions, water-in-oil emulsions and anhydrous systems.

In consumer testing, using Visia 3D imaging and image analysis on 10 panelists, Gransense TC-55X/C perfomed better than a silicone elastomer gel for deep wrinkles in under eye areas.
