California SCC Suppliers’ Day 2025 showcases innovation, education and collaboration under the theme “Science, Sun, and Surprising Insights.”

“Suppliers’ Day is more than a trade show—it’s a hub where ideas ignite, collaborations begin, and the future of cosmetic science takes shape,” said Margarita Gomez Nadin, 2025 CASCC Suppliers’ Day Chair. “From industry experts and brand leaders to students and early-career professionals, the event is a space where every voice in our industry can learn, connect, and be inspired.”

Day 2 Highlights:

• Keynote Panel at 9:00 am: “Truth in Beauty: Impact of Misinformation on Cosmetic Policymaking,” moderated by Jen Novakovich of The Eco Well.

• Meet the Regulators on the Main Stage: Full-day sessions curated by IBA and sponsored by CASCC, featuring representatives from CARB, DTSC, OEHHA, and NAD.

Attendees can also gleam up to date information at the Presentation Theater and Technical Posters Showcase and explore specialty areas: IBA Studio, BIW Emerging Brands Showcase, and Headshot Lounge, along with hundreds of exhibitors presenting the latest ingredients, formulations, and technologies.

To support the next generation of cosmetic scientists, CASCC will again offer scholarships and grants totaling over $15,000, including the CASCC Suppliers’ Day Scholarship, Light in Science Fellowship, and Guy Langler Memorial Scholarship.

“These programs reflect our commitment to advancing education and empowering future leaders in cosmetic chemistry,” noted Ryan Kudla, CASCC Education Chair. “We’re proud to help students and professionals gain access to learning and networking opportunities that can shape their careers.”

The California Chapter of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists (CASCC) is dedicated to advancing cosmetic science through education, innovation, and collaboration. With more than 600 active members, CASCC hosts monthly meetings across the Los Angeles area featuring industry experts who share the latest insights in cosmetic science. The Chapter also organizes a biennial scientific seminar on emerging technologies, the renowned Suppliers’ Day trade show, and UCLA Extension courses.
