Amino Acid Based Humectant from Ajinomoto
Prodew P-DS-12 is derived from L-Proline and fatty acid.
Ajinomoto’s new Prodew P-DS-12 is an amino acid-based humectant derived from L-proline and fatty acids. According to the company, it has a good moisturizing effect and can work as a booster for antimicrobials. It is also highly solubilized in water, easy to handle, and suitable for cold processing.
Prodew P-DS-12 provides a variety of functions in various cosmetic preparations. For example:
• Skincare products (creams, lotions, tonics, shower gels)
