Procedure

Combine aqua and glycerin in main vessel (A). Note: The Pureact MS-70 needs to be mixed to homogeneity with gentle agitation at ambient temperature before measuring out the required amount. Note: The Pureact MS-CG needs to be heated to 40-45°C and mixed to homogeneity before measuring out the required amount. Sequentially add the ingredients in (B) and mix until uniform and clear. Add Empigen BS/FA and mix until uniform. (C) Slowly add Lamesoft PO-65 and mix until uniform (D) Note: Too fast an addition rate can generate a gel which requires heating the batch to 40°C and mixing to re-disperse. Add sodium benzoate and glycolic acid, mix until fully dissolved. (E) Slowly add fragrance and mix until fully emulsified (F) Adjust pH to 4.3-4.8 with sodium hydroxide solution (25%w/w) as required. (F) Add aliquots of sodium chloride, (0.4%w/w) as required until a viscosity of 5,000-8,000cps is obtained. (G)
