Combine phase A and mix until dissolved and uniform. Sprinkle phase B over the top of phase A without mixing and allow for the Carbopol to hydrate (approximately 5 minutes). Once the polymer turns gray/translucent and begins to precipitate to the bottom of the beaker, turn the mixer back on. Add the phase C components, one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Add the NaOH slowly to neutralize the Carbopol. Mix until uniform. Once the gel is neutralized and uniform, add the Biostyle XH slowly to not entrap air into the gel.
