Phase E

  • Purac HiPure 90 (Corbion) (Lactic acid, water)
  • pH 5.5-6.0

Procedure

Mix the components of phase A and stir until fully solubilized. Heat to 80°C. Prepare phase B by dispersing Kelcogel CG-LA and Kelcogel CG-HA into glycerin. Add the dispersion into water and keep stirring until you obtain a homogeneous blend. Add the components of phase C into hot phase AB. Keep stirring until solubilization. Add the components of phase D one by one and stir very gently to avoid formation of foam. Adjust pH to 5.5-6.0 with phase E. Pour the hot and liquid blend into molds (gellan gum gels sets very quickly). Unmold when cold and solid.
