Phase B

Procedure

Add 4g of any oil to X 22 6695B and KF 6105 and mix well until smooth and uniform. Add the remaining oils and mix well. Start heating main vessel to 55-65°C. Combine phase B and heat to 55-65°C with mixing. Under a steady moderate stream add phase B to phase A and emulsify for ~4 minutes. While mixing (~1,100 rpm) turn heat off and start to cool batch rapidly to 20C using ice bath. Drop batch and let it set at ambient temperature for ~24 hrs before taking viscosity. Transfer to final container. Note: bulk will take a few hours to solidify.

Properties

Appearance—white, thick, butter-like cream; Viscosity—Brookfield Heliopath RV Spindle T-F, Speed 5, 1 min @ 25°C (400,000– 700,000) CPS.
