Mix until uniform. Add the solution to phase A slowly until uniform. Add phase C to phase AB. The mixture will gradually become red. Add the Hydroxyethylcellulose slowly to phase ABC, allowing the mixture to thicken as a low-viscosity gel will begin to form. Add the remainder of phase D. The mixture becomes a uniform gel. Add phase E to phase ABCD in order, ensuring the sodium benzoate stays in-solution. Transfer to suitable vessel upon completion.
