October 22, 2024

Townhouse—the London-born destination for luxury nail care loved by celebrities from Drake to Margot Robbie—recently unveiled plans for sites across the United States as part of its global expansion.
Debuting its first location in Beverly Hills in mid-May 2024, located at 9532 South Santa Monica Boulevard right off Rodeo Drive, this 1,500 square-foot space now offers a range of luxury nail treatments priced from $40 and above.
Founded by entrepreneur Juanita Huber-Millet in 2018, Townhouse is renowned for its quality treatments and chic interiors and has become the go-to salon for A-list celebrities.
Post-treatment, customers can keep their nails looking flawless and healthy with Townhouse’s signature products, including Cuticle Oil and Hand Cream, available from $15.
Huber-Millet, founder and creative director at Townhouse, shares details on the top naked nail trend for 2024.
HAPPI: When did you first note the rise of the Naked/minimalist manicure?
JHM: The Naked trend is super popular right now across makeup, hair and nails. We love this look at Townhouse, it’s chic, stylish and super wearable for all nail lengths! The minimal look started gaining momentum in early 2023 and has steadily increased in popularity with the growing focus on natural beauty and the “Clean girl” trend popularized by celebs and beauty influencers including Hailey Bieber, Bella Hadid and Sofia Richie.
HAPPI: How hard is it to make a manicure look minimal?
JHM: To achieve the ultimate minimalist/naked look, precision is key! It all starts with a flawless manicure, the preparation of the nail – including filing, buffing and cuticle work – plays a crucial role in achieving a polished and professional finish. These steps ensure the perfect canvas for a minimalist manicure to shine. For the finish, opt for neutral tones of pink, milky white or nude for the ultimate healthy glow. So, getting a minimal look takes some time!
HAPPI: Can you share some trend concepts?
JHM: If you fancy adding a little something extra to your minimalist look, try out the Glazed Donut or Micro French trends.
HAPPI: Which are the most popular shades at Townhouse for a minimal your-nails-but-better look?
JHM: To achieve the perfect naked look, select a soft shade to enhance the natural color of your nails. The most popular shades at Townhouse are Brownlow Road and Barlett Street, both sheer toned pinks – perfect for the ultimate “Lip Gloss” nails! Other beautiful shades to create this look are Bubble Bath by OPI, Negligee by CND and Elegance by Nailberry.
