Calvin Klein capitalized on the mist trend with the introduction of hair & body mists in September.

Two months after Coty announced its integration of its prestige beauty and mass fragrance businesses to refocus the company on its heritage to drive sustainable profitable growth, the Happi Top 50 Company has a slate of new fragrances planned across its Infiniment Coty Paris, Calvin Klein, Burberry, Adidas and Marc Jacobs brands throughout 2026.

The new fragrances come as Coty enters its next phase of its transformation, which company CEO Sue Nabi says is about “clarity and focus.”

She said the fragrance category continues to outperform the global beauty market and already drives the majority of company revenues and profits.

“Coty has a proven right to win at all price points of scenting, from $5 to $500, and is already making strong headway in the exciting new $7 billion mist market,” she said.

According to recent data from NielsenIQ, fragrance wardrobing, scent layering, mists and dupes and exploration have seen a 32.6% growth versus last year with a three-year growth rate of 25.1%. In the last four months, Coty introduced four body mists: Cotton Musk from Calvin Klein; Pistachio Paradise by Philosophy; Caramel Cloud from Kylie Cosmetics; and Coastal Crush Peach Bite from Nautica.

To maximize growth prospects, Coty says it plans to initiate organizational changes to drive closer integration and coordination between Prestige & Consumer Beauty fragrances, which account for 69% of Coty’s sales, officials said. Under this new structure, Coty will fully leverage its scale across R&D, consumer insights, manufacturing and distribution to strengthen the company’s revenue and profit engine.

In 2026, Coty plans to expand its Infiniment Coty Paris and Calvin Klein portfolios with three new fragrances. One masculine and one feminine fragrance from Burberry is also planned in addition to a unisex fragrance from Adidas and a feminine fragrance from the Marc Jacobs Daisy line.

Vanilla and leather are the star ingredients for these fragrances. According to a report from Spate this past summer, gourmand continues to dominate the fragrance category. Among the top-related hastags on TikTok, which garners a large fragrance community, is #perfumetok, which pulls in 3.3 million average weekly views. #Vanilla is at the forefront with 2.8 million average weekly views.

Vanilla via CO2 and electromagnetic extractions along with infusion and absolute are used in a number of Coty’s new feminine fragrance launches planned for 2026.

Leather ingredients like suederal, ciste sfe, safranal and isobutyl quinoleine – which were used in a number of masculine fragrance launches this year from Boss Bottled Beyond and Gucci Guilty – will also be used in the creation of a forthcoming Burberry launch.
