As dermatologists drill home daily sunscreen use into youth, emerging sun care entrepreneur Deri Green is toddling education for the little ones.

Headquarters: Boston, MAEstablished: 2025Hero Product: Toddle SPF 50 Mineral Sunscreen with Inuline PrebioticFrom a toddler’s first waddle, suncare entrepreneur Deri Green wants to ensure children have the necessary protection and moisturization to keep their delicate, developing skin thriving.
Toddle, a science-backed children’s skincare brand entered the US market. Founded by Green, a UK native, in 2025, the father is on a mission to educate the youth – toddler to tween – about proper SPF use, and instill healthy habits in youngsters about the dangers of SPF overexposure. Per the Melanoma Research Alliance, research shows that one blistering sunburn during childhood or adolescence nearly doubles a person’s lifetime risk of developing melanoma later in life. Consequently, Green says it’s crucial to keep children’s developing skin healthy by preventing sunburns.
Toddle touts next-generation skincare products with short- and long-term benefits for children’s delicate skin. Manufactured in Florida with headquarters in Boston, the dermatologist- and pediatrician-backed vegan formulations combine clean, trusted ingredients, including prebiotics and probiotics, and a deep understanding of the microbiome to support a child’s natural skin barrier.
“We’re beyond excited to bring Toddle to families across the country,” said Deri Green, owner of Toddle. “As a parent of two, Toddle is deeply personal to me. I wanted to build a brand that embodies excellence, safety and care – one that I would feel confident using with my own family. That’s why our new products are crafted to be gentle and natural. We want to give parents confidence and peace of mind when it comes to caring for their children’s skin.”
Prebiotics and probiotics are reportedly gaining recognition as a safe and effective treatment in pediatric dermatology. Studies prove skincare products with these actives help boost and balance a person’s microbiome for healthier skin and reduce skin conditions such as eczema, acne and dry skin, per the brand. Incorporating probiotics into skincare routines has also been shown to help alleviate inflammation and irritation, making them particularly beneficial for children with sensitive or reactive skin.
Toddle debuts with two SKUs: Toddle SPF 50 Mineral Sunscreen with Inuline Prebiotic for ages six months and up, and companion product Toddle Soothing Moisturizing Lotion for ages three months and up.
Toddle’s SPF 50 Mineral Sunscreen is a high-level sun protection product featuring plant-based prebiotics to protect the skin barrier and non-nano zinc to deflect harmful UV rays. Safe, gentle and effective, it ensures both comprehensive UV protection and fortification of natural defense. Pediatrician and dermatologist approved and free from fragrance, dyes, parabens and phthalates, the fast-absorbing formula provides immediate protection without leaving a tacky white residue. Key ingredients include inulin, a prebiotic that creates the correct moisture concentration for the skin while calming it; aloe vera; niacinamide; vitamin E and shea butter.
Toddle Soothing Moisturizing Lotion is enriched with probiotics to strengthen the skin’s natural barrier.
