Suspect in Custody in KDC/One Shooting

After a nearly 12-hour manhunt, police arrested the suspect in a late Tuesday night mass shooting in New Albany, OH that killed one and injured five.

Bruce Reginald Foster III, 28, was arrested Wednesday at a home in Columbus, according to New Albany police. A Columbus police dispatcher said he was arrested at about 10 a.m. at an apartment complex at 50 E 7th Ave. in Short North.

Foster is charged with aggravated murder in the shooting that happened about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday at KDC/One in the 8000 block of Smith’s Mill Road in far western Licking County.

One person died and five others suffered injuries in the shooting where about 150 people were present, police said. Police have not released the dead victim’s identity or given an update on the conditions of the five surviving victims.
