The Skin Cancer Foundation will hold a “Champions for Change” fundraising gala on Wednesday, May 13 at Ziegfeld Ballroom, 141 West 54th Street, New York, NY.

A cocktail reception will take place at 6 pm with a dinner and awards ceremony taking place at 7:30 pm.

Awards will be bestowed to the Foundation’s “Champions,” with supporters uniting over the shared goal: “Fighting Skin Cancer from Every Angle.”

Skin cancer survivor Sarah Eggenberger, an on-air correspondent for “The Today Show” and senior editor-at-large for NewBeauty will host this year’s event. She began advocating for skin cancer awareness after her morpheaform basal cell carcinoma diagnosis and treatment in 2025.

Model and actress Michelle Monaghan (“Mission: Impossible,” “The White Lotus,” “The Family Plan 2”) will be honored for her advocacy work with this year’s Impact Award. She has publicly supported sun protection and skin cancer awareness since her battle with melanoma in 2007.

Adam Schweitzer will be honored with this year’s Champion for Change Award. For more than 15 years, Schweitzer, a senior parter at WME, has rallied friends and associates in the entertainment industry to raise awareness for this disease in honor of his father, who passed away from melanoma. The evening will include a special performance by his friend Hank Azaria and The EZ Street Band.

Proceeds from the dinner will support The Skin Cancer Foundation’s public programs and initiatives to save and improve lives. For tickets, go here SkinCancer.org/Gala.
