Amitose 3LGA improves glutathione levels – a strong antioxidant in the body.
Seiwa Kasei has unveiled its new skincare innovation – Amitose 3LGA.
The new active improves glutathione levels, which is known as a strong antioxidant in the body. The increase of glutathione production enhances intracellular antioxidant ability and prevents skin oxidation, according to the makers.
Glutathione is a strong antioxidant substance, which is known as anti-aging ingredient to protect cells from reactive oxygen species (ROS), to keep skin bright. Recognized for its high effectiveness, glutathione is used widely such as supplement or intravenous drip. While glutathione is produced in the body naturally, its production declines with age after peaking in the 20s, like collagen.
ROS, which causes skin aging, is generated by various factors such as ultraviolet rays and aging. Seiwa Kasei focused on glutathione as it is related to “intracellular antioxidant system” to scavenge ROS efficiently. Amitose 3LGA enhances glutathione production as a glutathione booster and inhibits oxidant trouble inside skin, per the company.
While glutathione is difficult for use in cosmetics in terms of stability and odor, Amitose 3LGA is stable and available for various cosmetics formulation at effective concentration. It is expected that Amitose 3LGA cosmetics make skin firm and translucent.
Amitose 3LGA can be used in various formulations for skin care and body care. It is also suitable for cosmetics supervised by a doctor.
In June, Seiwa Kasei introduced a Hydrolyzed Rice Protein Powder for healthy hair and skin. Read up on that innovation here.
