The Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC) announced the organization’s 2026 Board of Directors. They are the governing body focused on the mission, strategy and goals of the Society. The board is responsible for representing the interests of more than 5,000 individual cosmetics and personal care industry members globally. 

Effective January 1, 2026, SCC’s Executive Officers are: 

President: Marisa Plescia, FemChem Beauty

Vice President: Perry Romanowski, Element 44

Vice President-Elect: Valerie George, Simply Formulas

Secretary: Mindy S. Goldstein, Mindy S. Goldstein Consulting

Treasurer: Volodymyr Onyshchak, The Estée Lauder Companies

“I am extremely honored to serve as SCC president in 2026,” said Plescia. “My fellow board members and I are committed to increased engagement and education opportunities for our members, expanding our community, and creating a strong future for the SCC.”

Area V: Senior Area Director Kendra Cutcher, DeWolf Chemical/Azelis and Area Director Shanhin Kalantari, D’Avicenna Inc.

These elected leaders are joined by Immediate Past President Akshay Talati RPh, Supergoop! and IFSCC Representative Peter Tsolis, The Estée Lauder Companies. Both serve on the Board in an ex officio capacity.
