Crafted to complement Pura’s smart fragrance technology, Trees of the West offers consumers a modern way to reconnect with the earth through scent.

For adventurers who relish the scent of the Great Outdoors – namely, the fresh evergreen trees with the first dusting of morning snow, the towering spruce in the mist of a grey afternoon, or the glow of the Joshua Tree – luxury home fragrance brand Pura has captured those invigorating scents into a new collection with Scents of Wood.
Industry veteran Fabrice Croisé founded the luxury fragrance brand inspired by forests and rooted in nature. Known for aging their scents in wooden barrels, Scents of Wood brings a rare and refined approach to perfumery, blending emotion, memory and the raw beauty of the natural world, per marketers.
Crafted to complement Pura’s smart fragrance technology, Trees of the West transforms traditional perfumery into an immersive home experience, offering consumers a modern way to reconnect with the earth through scent. They were created as a love letter to the trees. In a departure from typical fragrance development, the perfumers were taken directly to the source over intangible market data. Spending time under and around the trees that inspired each scent, they absorbed the temperature, air, textures and feelings of the space.
The result is Spruce in Mist with top notes of misty waters; middle notes of spruce; and bottom notes of vetiver. Evergreen in Snow contains top notes of crisp greens, middle notes of snow accord and bottom notes of cedarwood. Joshua in Glow contains top notes of Dewy Greens; middle notes of jasmine; and bottom notes of Joshua Tree.
The Pura x Scents of Wood collection is available at scentsofwood.com for $24 each.
