Pilot Chemical Company has elected Mike Clark to its board of directors.

A seasoned chemical industry executive, Clark brings more than 40 years of experience across sales and marketing, business development, strategic planning, and operations leadership. He most recently served as Pilot’s CEO and retired from the company on Dec. 31, 2025.

After joining Pilot in 2018 as chief operating officer, Clark held several key leadership roles. He was promoted to president in 2019, assumed the role of president and COO in 2021, and was named CEO at the start of 2022. Clark led the company for three years before his retirement.

“I am excited to remain involved with Pilot Chemical, and I look forward to supporting the team as we advance our growth and innovation initiatives,” said Clark.

Clark’s addition to the Board supports Pilot’s continued focus on long-term strategy, governance and disciplined growth, officials said.

“Mike’s leadership has had a significant impact on Pilot, and we are pleased to welcome him to the Board in this new capacity,” said Paul Morrisroe, chairman of the Pilot Board of Directors. “Mike’s deep industry expertise, strategic insight and understanding of our business will be valuable as we continue to execute our long-term vision.”
