Neutrogena Returns as Coachella’s Official Suncare Sponsor

The brand plans to distribute over 250 gallons of Beach Defense SPF 70.

It’s officially festival season, and fanny packs will be packed with plenty of sunscreen.

For the fourth consecutive year, Neutrogena will leverage the need for SPF during music’s trendiest outdoor concert in the dessert as Coachella’s official sun care sponsor. The festival will take place this year at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA from April 10-12 and April 17-19, with headliners Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber and Karol G.

This year, the brand plans to close the SPF reapplication gap in real time, meeting over 250,000 festival goers at every stage of their journey: from the Palm Springs Airport all the way through the festival grounds, campgrounds, and off-site hotspots.

Dedicated Sampling Booth

A dedicated sampling booth will be stationed Thursday through Monday across both weekends.

Neutrogena will own the festival arrival and departure experience with OOH placements throughout the Palm Springs Airport, plus a dedicated sampling booth running Thursday through Monday across both weekends.

The brand will also execute a full-funnel SPF presence spanning the airport, festival grounds, campgrounds, and community areas, with eight on-site SPF dispensers throughout Coachella grounds and sunscreen stations. The brand plans to distribute over 250 gallons of Beach Defense SPF 70.

Neutrogena will drive large-scale trial of its newly launched Ultra Sheer Invisible Gel SPF 40, an invisible, water-resistant formula built for peak sun, sweat and heat conditions. Some 145,000 samples will be distributed across both weekends.

Creator Presence

Over 30 creators will join the brand for opening weekend, bringing a reported combined reach of 114.5 million across Instagram and TikTok. The brand will host a welcome party at Palm Springs Surf Club for 200 guests, including US and global creators, media, and TikTok Shop affiliate creators, kicking off the weekend with product immersion and brand storytelling at scale.

Neutrogena will extend its presence to top cultural touch points on and off the festival grounds, serving as the official skincare sponsor of the Nylon House after-party, with SPF and hero products, including Hydro Boost Water Gel, Hydro Boost Lip Oil, and the newly launched Evenly Clear Hypochlorous Acid Spray, integrated into the experience. Sampling will also take place at the AMEX and Aperol stations at the festival.
