Natural Products Association 2026 Fly-In Day Set for May 12

Annual federal government advocacy event takes place on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC.

The Natural Products Association (NPA) will hold its annual federal government advocacy Fly-In Day on Capitol Hill, which is scheduled for Tuesday, May 12, 2026.

NPA Fly-In Day is billed as the wellness ingredient suppliers’ opportunity to shape policies through in-person meetings with members of Congress and staff. NPA members can reserve their spot and make hotel reservations online here.

Fly-In Day features a breakfast buffet and training on lobbying activities, followed by meetings with
congressional offices and a closing reception on the rooftop of NPA’s headquarters with a view
of the Capitol.

“2026 will be a pivotal year for the dietary supplement industry, requiring vigorous engagement from
our members on Capitol Hill,” said Daniel Fabricant, Ph.D., president and CEO of NPA. “On one hand, we
face mounting threats by state legislatures to restrict consumer access to dietary supplement products,
based on false and misleading information disseminated by our critics regarding federal oversight of the
industry. “On the other hand, the Trump administration’s focus on Making America Healthy Again
provides tremendous opportunities in the 119th Congress and executive branch to expand access to
dietary supplement products. On Fly-In Day, our members will play a critical role educating members of
Congress and their staff on the health benefits of our products and supporting the association’s
legislative priorities.”
