Indie fine fragrance brand Lake & Skye Founder Courtney Somer sought to bottle up the sporadic bursts of optimism that people experience unexpectedly, and with it, the radiant energy that ensues, with its new fine fragrance. A call from an old friend you haven’t heard from in awhile; seeing a rainbow in the sky after a rainstorm; walking into a surprise birthday party with cake tower.

To enable spritzing on these sweet moments with the intention of positivity and power, Lake & Skye released a highly anticipated follow-up to 11 11 Moon: 11 11 Lychee. The franchise’s signature musk adds what the brand calls a “sensual” layer with an airy, fruit-kissed scent. Top notes include raspberry, Cassissweet and lychee; middle notes comprise peony, ambrette seeds and sugar crystals; and base notes entail upcycled oakwood, Hinoki woods and Ambroxan.

“With 11 11 Lychee, I was inspired to bottle that spark of positivity you feel in unexpected moments—something airy, fruity and mood-lifting,” said Somer. “Lychee and raspberry bring a brightness I love, while ambrette and hinoki add warmth and depth. It’s a scent that makes me feel more like myself with an extra bit of radiance. I created it as a reminder to seek joy and connection.”

11 Lychee retails for $105 for the full size of 1.7 fluid ounces, and $36 for the purse spray.
