The Innovation Zone, sponsored by Mibelle AG Biochemistry, will take center stage at In-Cosmetics Asia 2025, organized by RX.
Spotlighting over 100 of the latest personal care ingredients launched within the past eight months, some will be unveiled for the first time at the show happening Nov. 4-6 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Center. The event will be co-located with Cosmex, Asean’s most comprehensive exhibition on manufacturing technologies, machinery, packaging and ODM/OEM services for cosmetics and personal care.
As the most popular area of In-Cosmetics Asia, the zone attracts over three-quarters of visitors, with 76% making it their first stop to uncover the breakthroughs shaping the industry’s future, per 2024 visitor survey research. Year after year, it provides an instant snapshot of the innovation, creativity and progress being made across the sector, cementing its status as the must-see destination for anyone seeking inspiration and market solutions.
Divided into functional and active ingredients for easy navigation, the zone gives attendees a clear overview of the latest launches across these categories. In addition, selected innovations will be showcased in formulated prototypes, allowing visitors to test and experience textures firsthand.
All ingredients featured will be automatically entered into the In-Cosmetics Asia 2025 Innovation Zone Awards, taking place on Tuesday, Nov. 4 live in the show foyer, alongside the 9 Faces of the APAC Beauty Industry 2025 Awards.
Launched this month, Revivebio Co. introduces Nexosome, a next-generation exosome derived from probiotics and backed by 15 years of research. Standardized at 500 billion extracellular vesicles per milliliter, it sets a new benchmark for potency, scalability and consistency in skincare actives. Produced through precision microbial fermentation, Nexosome supports sustainability while ensuring purity and reproducibility.
Algaktiv will introduce Algaktiv Vitalys, a new microalgae-derived active, launched this September, clinically proven to reduce wrinkles, improve firmness and enhance radiance. By promoting skin longevity through NAD⁺ activation and cellular wellness, it offers visible results without irritation. Easy to formulate, stable and clean-label, Algaktiv Vitalys fits today’s demand for preventive beauty and emotional self-care; particularly in Asia, where consumers are seeking simple, science-backed solutions for sensitive skin.
Another new addition to the Innovation Zone is Spec-Chem Industry Inc.’s SpecKare HV 201, an active combining Decapeptide-4 with Poria Cocos Sclerotium Extract and Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract. Designed to improve scalp health and prevent hair loss, it supports one of the fastest-growing segments in haircare. Meanwhile, Greentech will present Ilumys, a 100% natural origin, COSMOS-approved active listed in the IECIC. Oil-soluble and easy to formulate at just 0.5%, Ilumys enhances skin radiance, promotes an even tone, and supports well-ageing skin by maintaining youthful vitality and resilience.
Others in the Innovation Zone will be Codif, Indermal by Nanovex Biotechnologies, Berg+Schmidt Care Ingredients, Provital S.A., Aiglon, Naolys, Gattefossé SAS, Sharon Personal Care, JRS, Oat Cosmetics, Exsymol, Roelmi HPC, and Winkey Technology, plus more, each bringing their latest creations to the show floor. Together, these companies represent the breadth and depth of the global beauty and personal care supply chain, with launches spanning actives, functional ingredients and bio-based solutions that are driving the industry forward.
“Year after year, the Innovation Zone proves to be the heartbeat of In-Cosmetics Asia,” said Sarah Gibson, event director, In-Cosmetics Asia. “It is where the industry’s newest ideas first come to life; the place where visitors can be among the very first to see, touch and experience the ingredients that will define the next wave of personal care.
The in-cosmetics Asia 2025 Innovation Zone Awards and the 9 Faces of the APAC Beauty Industry Awards, previously hosted in the Innovation Zone, will take place in the foyer outside Hall 103 on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
