HCPA’s Connection & Development Network To Sponsor Sessions at Mid-Year Meeting

HCPA’s Connection & Development Network (CDN) — formerly the Young Professionals Committee (YPC) — is sponsoring two sessions at this year’s Mid-Year Meeting.

The CDN aims to connect HCPA members across companies, roles, and product divisions, providing opportunities for professional development and engagement on industry trends.

Defining Product Stewardship: Practical Approaches and Strategic Impact/Sustainability & Product Stewardship Council will take place on Wednesday, May 13 from 3 to 4 pm. This session will explore how product stewardship can be integrated into business processes, career pathways and professional growth, while offering practical examples of stewardship in action.

Speakers will include:

  • Alison Gauthier, managing scientist, Exponent;
  • John Hott, client solution principal consultant, Yordas Group; and
  • Giselle Vincett, vice president of North America, Yordas Limited.

AI for Regulatory Professionals – Lessons from the Field: Best Practices for AI in Regulatory Work will take place from 4 to 5 pm.

This capstone panel will bring together regulatory professionals and AI practitioners to share lessons learned, common pitfalls, and practical strategies for integrating AI into regulatory workflows effectively and responsibly.

Speakers will include:

  • Kirill Ivanov, co-founder and COO, GetGenAI; and
  • Charlie Vallely, CEO and co-founder, Smarter Sorting.
