The Household and Commercial Products Association (HCPA) will host a three-part webinar series that will provide a comprehensive overview of applicable federal and state labeling requirements for consumer products on July 15 from 1 to 2:30 pm ET.

Session one will focus on requirements administered by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), including product safety evaluation, toxicity categories, results of assessments, and compiling the label for compliance with the Federal Hazardous Substances Act (FHSA) and other considerations under CPSC’s jurisdiction.

Session two, held on July 29 from 1 to 2:30 pm ET, will focus on the substantiation of marketing claims, various obligations under the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), including the Fair Packaging and Labeling Act (FPLA), and the boundaries of pesticidal claims under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA).

On Aug. 5 from 1 to 2:30 pm ET, the series will conclude with a session on additional federal and state-level requirements, such as volatile organic compound (VOC) limits, Prop 65, phosphate restrictions, ingredient communication, and other mandates that impact consumer product labeling.

The webinar will be recorded and made available via email to registered participants. To register, go here.
