Hairstory’s new “AI-Chat”, feature is now available at Hairstory.com.
Hairstory has always been an advocate for personalized haircare, from its earlier hair quiz to the different variations of hero product New Wash.
Now, Hairstory’s Stylist Chat brings even more innovation to shoppers seeking best-in-class haircare, said the indie company.
Stylist Chat leans about each customers hair type, routines and concerns and has been crafted to recommend personalized regimes as well as the reasons behind then.
In addition, the new technology draws upon Hairstory’s extensive reviews (over 35k) to help prospective customers hear from previous shoppers just like themselves.
CEO Dina Rosenbloom has commented on the launch: “Hairstory’s new AI-powered hair chat brings sophisticated personalization to the hair care category. When people switch to New Wash from traditional shampoo, the benefits they experience can vary depending on their hair type. For example, those with fine hair may get conditioning without weighing down their locks and even see an increase in volume – plus the ability to go longer between washes. Conversely, people with curly hair often already wash less frequently. Their benefits can include super soft, defined curls with bounce and reduced frizz, without having to spend as much time in the shower, as they’re using a single product.
The AI-powered hair chat learns each person’s hair type, routine and concerns, and has been expertly trained not only to recommend a personalized regimen, but to explain the reasoning behind the recommendations and the expected benefits. It’s like having a conversation with a highly-trained hairdresser. And, it scans over 35k reviews to find exactly the most appropriate match, so the customer can hear from someone like them and how they feels about our products’ performance.”
