The holidays are the fragrance category’s biggest shopping event of the year, and perfume buyers are sniffing out good deals and delectable scents.

According to recent insight from Snif, the gourmand trend that ruled 2025 is set to get deeper and more decadent.

Snif’s Head of Product & Scent Development, Kara Kowalski, says consumers want fragrances that feel warm, plush and indulgent. She says consumers should wrap themselves in Crumb Couture, a scent that brings a rich, cozy depth that’s “all comfort and no cliché.”

Room for Dessert captures the luxe, dessert-inspired trend by turning vanilla and strawberry into an elevated, creamy and addictive indulgence.

Sensual Florals & Frisky Fragrances

Winter being the season of boldness, “lean-in-closer” fragrances are having a moment with musks, dark fruits and boozy facets.

Me is Kowalski’s definition of a frisky fragrance, “a musky, mossy skin scent with a soft, addictive high that lingers.”

Tart Deco is sexy personified, likening it to that of a high-shine lipstick. Dark fruits, warmth and a boozy edge make it unforgettable for winter nights in.

Clean Scents with Added Texture

The clean trend is evolving. In lieu of sterile linen, consumers are craving warm-clean — scents that smell like a favorite T-shirt, worn-in denim or a second skin.

Snif’s Clean Getaway nails the modern clean trend: crisp, musky and subtly sweet with a soft laundry accord. It’s effortless and genderless like a vintage white tee.

Cologne’s Comeback

Cologne is resurging. Consumers want cologne that’s bright, fun and emotionally expressive — not stiff or traditional.

Snif examples include Sunny, a fruity yet not feminine, masculine without being classic. Clean Getaway offers a clean-cologne angle — fresh, musky and modern.

Room for Dessert offers an unexpected “loverboy” energy for charmers who lean subtle, but confident.

Snowy Fresh & Icy Notes

Winter-fresh scents are trending warm-meets-crisp, layering cooling notes with soft woods and sweetness.

Snif examples include Sweet Ash Super, which amplifies that vibe with cool fir balsam and a milk-and-sandalwood flurry — a quiet, snowy softness that Kowalski says feels like stepping into a winter landscape.
