Hair perfume is having a moment.
As Happi previously reported, market research firm Spate said views for hair perfume saw a +35% increase on TikTok, constituting the fastest growing fragrance on the platform in April 2023. The findings presented an opportunity for product development in both haircare-focused and fragrance brands alike.
Gisou is jumping on the hair perfume bandwagon. The beauty brand’s newest release is a Honey Infused Hair Perfume in lavender berry.
Billed a sensual, sophisticated, fruity floral scent experience, the hair perfume is a blend of lavender, blackberry and mirsalehi honey.
The makers say Gisou’s proprietary blend of mirsalehi’s honey serves as a natural humectant that aids hair’s natural moisture balance, resulting in smooth and luminous locks, per the brand. Additionally, it contains argan oil, which is known for boosting shine while being packed with antioxidants to strengthen and nourish.
The perfume also showcases top notes of ginger and blackberry leaf for a slightly zesty aromatic garden scent, per marketers.
