With one month until the unofficial start of summer 2026, Gillette Venus has released a new shave collection aimed to prevent in-grown hairs and itch around the bikini line.

The new Venus Pubic Hair and Skin Razor is designed for coarse hair and delicate skin. Its upgraded razor features the CalmCurve handle, which allows for a better grip to get to hard-to-reach areas and Anti-Irritation Barrier for an ultra-smooth shave.

Venus Smoothing Cleanser + Shave Gel is recommended for use prior to shaving to help provide a protective layer of glide, hydrating hair to help prevent shaving irritation. Formulated with shea butter and aloe, the fragrance-free, transparent formula allows users to see what they’re shaving. It can double as a daily gentle skin cleanser.

Venus Daily Ingrown Serum is newly formulated with aloe to help soothe skin and reduce itch due to dry skin and contains a gentle exfoliant to help prevent trapped hairs between shaves. As opposed to regular body lotions, which are often scented and don’t exfoliate, daily use of the daily will help keep the skin smooth and conditioned, per the brand.

Venus Extra Smooth Sensitive Razor is designed for sensitive, irritation-prone skin. The dermatologist-tested razor features sharp, durable blades for a close shave with up to 0% shave irritation as the cushioned blue strip acts like the skin’s bodyguard.

Campaign with the ‘Confidence Queen’

It’s a “code very red” for bumpy skin!

Venus Extra Smooth Sensitive Razor is designed for sensitive, irritation-prone skin.

To bring the newly upgraded Venus for Pubic Hair & Skin collection to life, Gillette Venus partnered with so-called “confidence queen” Drew Afualo to demonstrate the new razor’s smoothing abilities.

Afualo will take part in a multi-part social series. Assuming the role as a “smoothguard,” she will be on the lookout for beachgoers in need of the proper tools to fight razor bumps, in-grown hairs and itch around their bikini line.

Designed to “save your shave,” Afualo is highlighting the importance of a designated care routine for the pubic area.
