The biannual Sunscreen Symposium, produced by the Florida Chapter of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists, is September 18-20 in Orlando. The event attracts hundreds of industry experts, including marketers, suppliers and regulators. It is the 20th anniversary of the world’s biggest event dedicated solely to the suncare industry.

This premier gathering of professionals offers 1.5 days of podium talks and a complimentary educational course for all registered attendees led by industry experts: diving deep into science, storytelling, combating misinformation, testing methodology updates, formulation strategies, safety, environmental and regulatory insights, and a forward-looking exploration of AI-led molecular development for sustainable ingredient solutions, noted FLSCC Chair Teresa Fleming.

Complimentary Educational Course

Registered attendees can choose to kick off Thursday with either the complimentary educational course or a relaxed round of networking and competition on the links during the optional golf outing. The leading suppliers of technology and technical services will be showcased in the exhibitor hall, where the Welcome Reception kicks off Thursday afternoon with booths and posters open for an engaging start to the event.

Do not miss Friday evening’s Gala—a glamorous throwback to the 1920s with a modern twist, promising elegance and fun in equal measure, according to organizers.

Advanced Registration Through September 11

“Whether you’re exploring the latest advancements in SPF technology, launching a new brand, or seeking the science behind compelling claims—this is where the brightest minds in sun care converge,” said Fleming.

Advanced registration is available through Thursday September 11th at https://events.american-tradeshow.com/flscc25 and on-site registration will resume on September 18th.

See you in Orlando!
