Head makeup artist for HBO’s hit teen drama Euphoria Donni Davy has collaborated with A24 films to create innovative makeup brand, Half Magic.

All seven of the brand’s new  eyeshadows are wrapped in PaperFoam, a sturdy, lightweight, biodegradable material created with industrial potato starch and molded cellulose. Consumers can also “de-pot” the shadows into Half Magic’s new Forever Palette, which is also curbside recyclable, and toss them in the recycling bin.

The Eyeshadow Range

Eyeshadow Singles ($12) include Silky Matte in Daydreamies in Sky Blue and Cheeky Eyes in Peach. Crystal Shimmer includes Elvin Things in Mint with Peach Reflects; Pretty Robot in Lilac Pink; and Karat Kween in True Gold. Glossy Metallic comes in Glamourust (a rusty rose) and Wet Pebble (a deep taupe).

The Forever Palette ($26) is a recyclable magnetic “forever” home for all eyeshadow singles and Light Trap highlighter powders. When ready to recycle, the palette can be easily disassembled.

Recycling Instructions

To recycle or compost Half Magic’s compacts, remove the pan by peeling off the label and insert the tip of a pen through the bottom of the clamshell, making sure to remove any excess glue. To recycle the Forever Palette, remove the keepsake mirror and all makeup pans. Insert a finger or a pointed tool in the notch to remove the bottom frame. Peel back the perforated edges near the palette closure to remove and dispose of all magnetic parts. Recycle the now-empty palette and bottom frame.
