The men's personal care brand has released two new soaps honoring the cartoon with fruity-smelling Nautical Nonsense and Sea Star Shenanigans.

Aye, aye, captain!
The Spongebob craze is taking off this summer 2025 in the beauty, personal care and even food chain space, from makeup collections to Crabby Patty meals at Wendy’s. Now, men’s personal care brand Dr. Squatch is the latest to take a slice of the action.
The cult-favorite brand has released two new bar soaps honoring the iconic cartoon with Nautical Nonsense and Sea Star Shenanigans.
Nautical Nonsense takes it shape from Spongebob’s yellow square body and aims to transport bathers to Bikini Bottom to smell like a pineapple under the sea, per the lyrics to the cartoon’s theme song. The brick is formulated with the popular summer fruit, chamomile and moss to leave skin feeling “soft and breezy,” per marketers. Ingredients include sea salt to slough off dead skin, pineapple extract with Bromelain enzymes that carry natural antioxidants and coconut oil to moisturize.
Sea Star Shenanigans blends the fruity scents of tropical guava, pink pineapple and peach for a bubbly lather. Star ingredients include starfruit extract to help soothe skin for a refreshing feel; sand to naturally exfoliate dead skin cells; and kaolin clay to help absorb excess oil and impurities.
Nautical Nonsense and Sea Star Shenanigans are both available individually for $6 for subscribers only; as a two-pack (one of each) for $16; soap and deo sets ($21 per scent) or as a four-pack with matching deodorants for $42.
The soaps and deodorants are available for US customers here.
