Beauty veteran will accept The Inventor's Award at the event.

Chaz Dean of Wen is leading the event.

Today is the day! The 6th annual Daytime Beauty Awards (DBA), founded by CEO Michele Elyzabeth, will take place on Sept. 30, 2024 at the Autry Museum of the American West in Los Angeles.

A luncheon and honoree ceremony, the Daytime Beauty Awards recognizes science behind beauty, health and wellness; spotlighting professionals in the fields of medicine, health and fitness, aesthetics, skincare, color and styling, CBD & cannabis, beauty innovation and more.

This year, the DBAs will raise awareness for Return To Freedom Wild Horse Conservation.

The hair and bodycare brand Wen By Chaz Dean will serve as a supporting sponsor for the ceremony. This year, Chaz Dean will also be honored with The Inventor’s Award. Holly Robinson Peete will present the award to him. Chaz is receiving the honor for the invention of his Wen Brush Dryer Styling Tool.

In previous years, the Daytime Beauty Awards have honored Cindy Crawford for Meaningful Beauty, Christie Brinkley for Outstanding Achievement in Health and others.

Wen By Chaz Dean

Over the past 30 years, Dean has built a beauty empire. Starting out as a photographer, he went on to master the art of makeup and hairstyling. A businessman, brand builder and visionary, Dean went into product creation with the birth of Wen. His trailblazing invention of the first-ever 5-in-1 no-lather Cleansing Conditioner put him on the map.

Eventually becoming the number one beauty brand on QVC in 2015, WEN now spans over 700 products and has sold over 50 million Cleansing Conditioners, making WEN one of the largest beauty brands on QVC, while also earning over 50 Customer Choice Beauty Awards.

Opening Chaz Dean Studio at 6444 Fountain Ave. in Hollywood, California, the salon has now expanded to 6 impressive bungalows dedicated to holistic hairstyling.

Growing coast-to-coast, Chaz Dean Studio is now open in New York City at 59 Greenwich Ave. in the heart of the West Village.
