Clean beauty retailer Credo enters the bodycare category with the launch of an eponymous line. Credo Body Care includes body cream, body serum and body wash. Prices range from $34 to $52.

A key ingredient in the line is sugar kelp extract, ethically sourced Maine by Atlantic Sea Farms. Formulas include mineral-rich sea water and a ferment of spirulina, seaweed and sea lettuce.

The formulas were created by KKT Labs, which Krupa Koestline founded.

A New Addition to the Credo Beauty Private Label Skincare Line

The Body Care introduction is the latest addition to Credo’s private-label offerings. In September, the company launched Credo Skincare. The formulas include two cleansers and four moisturizers that promise to protect skin’s microbiome. All formulas contain upcycled vetiver root extract, ethically harvested by a local cooperative in Haiti. Vetiver root supports the protection of the skin’s barrier for a vibrant skin tone while improving skin texture and reducing the appearance of pores and wrinkles, according to Credo.
