Analysts say it’s advantageous to highlight key ingredients in product names to capitalize on consumer awareness.

While Google searches for snail serum continue to grow with +4.2K average monthly searches compared to last year, other face serums are making waves in the skincare world.
Currently, the two fastest growing face serum products are copper peptide and tranexamic acid serums, according to New York City-based beauty trend tracker Spate.
Copper peptide serum averages 4.7K monthly searches and has seen a +68.3% increase in interest compared to last year. Analysts say copper peptide serum is popular for its ability to promote skin rejuvenation, reduce signs of aging and enhance overall skin appearance—key concerns for consumers as they age.
While Biossance’s Squalane + Copper Peptide Rapid Plumping Serum and The Ordinary’s Multi-Peptide + Copper Peptides 1% are among the top searches, there’s room for other brands to step in and meet the demand for copper peptide serum and the best copper peptide serum. What’s particularly notable about this trend, analysts observe, is growing consumer knowledge of skincare ingredients. As a brand, Spate says it’s advantageous to highlight key ingredients in product names to capitalize on this awareness.
Tranexamic acid serum averages 1.2K monthly searches and has seen a +64.6% growth in interest compared to last year. This serum is known for reducing hyperpigmentation — a common concern caused by an increase in melanin production — and evening out skin tone. This trend has very few branded searches, indicating that no single brand has yet claimed the title of the best tranexamic acid serum.
Analysts also say consumers are frequently searching for reviews, suggesting they want to learn more about this serum and whether it truly delivers results. This presents a significant opportunity for brands to educate consumers about tranexamic acid, how it can be used on the face and its effectiveness in achieving clear skin, as seen with tranexamic acid serum for face.
