Costa Brazil opened its new flagship store at Hudson Yards.
Located on Level 1, it marks a milestone as one of the first retail spaces for the clean beauty brand.
The store features a “curated mix” of founder Francisco Costa’s personal objects and books, creating a “home-like atmosphere that invites guests to slow down and connect with the brand.”
The store offers the full range of Costa Brazil products, spanning haircare, skincare, body care, fragrance and home, while also debuting two exclusive products: the “detoxifying and energizing” Breu soap bar and handcrafted Breu incense.
The flagship will also serve as a “dynamic hub for community and cultural engagement, hosting monthly activations.”
The project has been developed in collaboration with creative partner Alexander May.
The interior is defined by a “restrained material palette,” including stained black wood, concrete and natural finishes. Custom-designed furnishings—including platform daybeds, sofas and low tables—establish a “consistent architectural rhythm” throughout the space. Two 30-foot shelving elements “anchor the environment, functioning simultaneously as display and spatial framework.”
The curatorial approach integrates pieces from Costa’s home in Bellport alongside Brazilian design sourced from galleries.
The clean beauty brand will announce upcoming partnerships and collaborations, including rotating installations with Brazilian furniture designers and art galleries.
