In the time it takes a consumer to insert the Keurig and pour the Spring water in their coffeemaker, Clarins’ new eye cream purports lifted peepers.
The beauty brand’s new Total Eye Lift Harnesses retinol-like organic harungana extract combined with a new extract of activated red jania to deliver a lift effect in 30 seconds.
In three hours, consumers will experience smoother eye contour skin and reduce wrinkles in 30 days.
Consider this promises the “30-3-30” rule for “eye-keep.”
“The eye contour is the most vulnerable since it contains less collagen fibers and is only 0.5 millimeters thick,” explains brand officials. “When its production slows down, skin shows the signs and wrinkles, fine lines and crow’s feet appear. To stimulate it, Clarins combines two powerful ingredients of plant origin: organic harungana extract and activated red jania extract.”
Activated red jania extract is Clarins’ first biotech ingredient. It doubles the contraction capacity of fibroblasts to help restore the tension of collagen fibers and deliver a long-term lift effect.
Harungana promises the same benefits of retinol, but without the adaptation period by the skin to be well tolerated. This may include redness.
Harungana is “better tolerated” by all skin types and can be used on a regular basis to reap the same anti-aging benefits, brand officials said. With patented effectiveness, harungana extract boosts 12 times the collagen production while improving skin density for a more youthful, toned appearance.
Plant-based caffeine helps reduce and minimize the look of puffiness; Horse chestnut escin encourages the microcirculation to help reduce the look of dark circles. Organic white horehound and furcellaria help protect the eyes’ delicate skin contour from pollution. Shea butter nourishes the skin.
In a consumer test, 95% of women saw immediate hydration; 82% found signs of fatigue were reduced after three days; and 80% of women found the skin is firmer using Total Eye Lift.
What’s more, the product’s texture touts a pro-tightening matrix that instantly lifts with sensoriality with organic oat sugars and two photo-emollients to comfort the eye contour without an oily film.
Total Eye Lift is packaged in a refillable airless aluminum bottle using 50% less metal, 33% less plastic and 29% less cardboard.
Total Eye Lift retails for $95 here.
