Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute To Move New York City Location

Educational and training center for skin, hair and wellness will move to a new space in Brooklyn in 2025.

Aveda Arts & Sciences Institutes' future new home in Brooklyn.

Aveda Arts & Sciences Institutes—the educational institution for beauty and wellness providers across cosmetology, esthiology and massage therapy—will relocate its New York City campus to Brooklyn, NY in Summer 2025. The new new state-of-the-art campus will be located in Brooklyn’s “DUMBO” section.

Aveda Arts & Sciences Institutes’ New York site is currently located in Soho. There are currently 18 sites across the US.

The new location at 35 Pearl Street in Brooklyn will feature cutting-edge facilities including advanced classrooms and dedicated spaces for hands-on learning, according. The move aligns with Aveda Arts’ mission to offer an exceptional educational experience that fosters innovation, creativity, and sustainability in the beauty and wellness industry, according to executives.

“DUMBO is a thriving neighborhood known for its vibrant arts scene and creative spirit; we are excited to start a new chapter here. The new facility will offer our students an inspiring environment where they can grow as professionals and artists, fully supported by the latest technology and resources, said Edwin Neill, president of Aveda Arts & Sciences Institutes.

 “The invigorating energy and vibe in DUMBO will add a fresh dimension to our student’s educational experience,” added Traci Sakosits, creative director and vice president of education.

The Soho campus will continue to operate until the official opening of the new location, according to with Aveda Arts.
