With Mother’s and Father’s Day in the air, the American Cleaning Institute (ACI) has launched new tools to help new parents clean safely and effectively.

The new dedicated landing page was developed in partnership with the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and lives on their patient website, FamilyPhysicians.org. The page features essential cleaning resources aimed at empowering families with cleaning and disinfecting guidance, especially during the early stages of parenthood.

“Cleanliness is a vital component of family health, and something I see many new parents stress over when bringing a child home,” said Dr. Libby Wetterer, a family physician and member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. “As a pregnant person myself, it’s great to have all these resources in one place. As a physician, I feel confident these tools will help parents confidently make informed decisions in their daily routines.”

The new resource hub builds on ACI’s Clean First Steps toolkit, which offers practical tips, checklists, and educational materials designed to help parents maintain a healthy and hygienic environment for their newborns. The toolkit equips parents with step-by-step instructions and trusted information to navigate common cleaning challenges.
