Procedure

Phase A: Add water to main container and begin mixing with propeller agitation. Disperse Natrosol 250 HHR into vortex and mix until completely dissolved. Begin heating to 60°C. Mix for about 30 minutes until fully hydrated and solution is smooth and clear. Begin to cool. Add AquaStyle SH-100 and mix until uniform. Neutralize with AMP-Ultra PC 2000. Mix until uniform. Phase B: Add Style Fusion complex 1 to batch and mix until uniform. Add Phase C ingredients one after another waiting for each to become uniform in the batch before adding the next. Phase D: Adjust pH with citric acid as necessary. Take viscosity and pH initial and after 24 hours.

Properties

Appearance—White, opaque lotion; pH—7.0 ± 0.30; Viscosity (D0)— 5,000 – 10,000 cps (RVT, Spindle #4 @ 10 rpm).
