Procedure

Add water into main vessel and add phase A ingredients one by one while mixing and begin heating to 75-80°C At 60°C, when phase A is clear, sprinkle in phase B, and mix well until homogeneous. At 70°C, sprinkle in phase C, and mix gently (to avoid foam creation) until powder is dissolved. In a side beaker, heat phase D ingredients (except Ganex/Antaron Sensory polymer) at 75-80°C until powders are dissolved. Then wet Ganex/Antaron Sensory polymer in phase D under stirring. At 75°C add phase D (Ganex/Antaron Sensory polymer stands as a wet powder) into the main vessel and homogenize. The emulsion should be homogeneous. Begin cooling. At RT, premix phase E until clear. At 55°C, add phase E into the main beaker and mix well. At 30°C add phase F and mix well Stop at 25°C.

Properties

Appearance—Light yellow cream; pH—5.7-6.2; Viscosity (D0)—40,000–60,000 cps (Brookfield RVT/Spindle B/5 RPM/ 1 minute/25°C).
