Procedure

1. Combine Phase A1 and mix well until smooth and uniform. 2. Add Phase A2 to Phase A1 and mix well. 3. Start heating main vessel to 65°C. 4. Combine Phase B and heat to 65°C with mixing. 5. Under a steady moderate stream add Phase B to Phase A and emulsify for ~4 minutes. 6. While mixing turn heat off and start to cool batch rapidly to 20°C. 7. Drop batch and let it set at ambient temperature for ~24 hrs before taking viscosity.

Properties

Appearance – white, thick, butter like cream; Viscosity—Brookfield Heliopath RV Spindle T-F, Speed 5, 1 min @ 25°C – 432,000 CPS; Stability—25°C/2 Months: Passed -50°C/1 Month: Passed - Freeze/Thaw-3 cycles (-20°C/RT)—Passed.
