Charge water into mixing vessel and add Natrlquest E30. With moderate mixing, sprinkle in Activsoft C-17. Once dispersed, add trace amounts of citric acid solution (50%) to hydrate Guar. Batch with clear slightly. Slowly add Pureact 138. Begin heating batch to 70-75°C. Add phase C sequentially. Mix until all flakes are melted and batch is uniform. Cut heat off. Add Empigen BS/FA. When temperature is 40-45°C, add desired preservative.
