Procedure

Mix phase A in main vessel and heat to 70°C to 75°C. In a separate vessel, weigh phase B. Add to phase A at temperature. Mix until uniform. Discontinue heat. Allow phase AB to cool to 40°C to 45°C then add Phase C and mix until uniform. Weigh phase D and add slowly to phase ABC, increasing mixer speed as needed. The batch will gradually thicken. Allow the batch to incorporate evenly. Add phase E to phase ABCD. The batch may lose some viscosity but will become uniform. At 25-30°C, transfer to a suitable vessel.

Properties
