In an empty beaker, add Polyhydroxystearic acid, Butyloctyl Salicylate and Isododecane and heat to 50°C to ensure the Polyhydroxystearic acid has melted. Add Enhance U-S under homogenization and continue homogenization at 4,000rpm for 20 minutes or until a uniform dispersion is obtained. Move to overhead stirrer once complete. Slowly sprinkle Amaze XT into the water phase of the formula and mix at 500-550rpm to ensure complete dispersion and swelling. Ensure no air is trapped. Once Amaze XT is completely dispersed, add the sodium chloride. A drop in viscosity will be noticed. Slowly add the water phase to the oil phase and continue mixing the batch under prop blade at 500-600rpm. Once the phases are mixed, homogenize at 3,500rpm for 10-15 minutes. Add Dry-Flo TS and the Phenoxyethanol (and) Ethylhexylglycerine under sweep mixing after homogenization. Mix at 100-120rpm.
Appearance: White liquid. Viscosity (RT): 1000-1500cPs. Static SPF: 56.2.
