Hair care collection targets consumers with natural grey hair color.

More and more beauty consumers are keeping it real and preserving their silver stands as opposed to committing to a salon hair color program. As a result, indie hair care brand Arey is reaching out to a new consumer with its latest shampoo and conditioner launch. Arey Wash & Smooth is said to prevent, slow and even re-pigment grey hair. Known as “The Wrinkle Cream of Haircare”, Arey was created as a proactive approach to dealing with grey hair after research found that heredity is only a 30% factor in grey hair. The hair care line is cruelty free, free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrance, polyethylene glycol, formaldehyde, dyes and gluten. Co-founders Allison Conrad and celebrity hairstylist Jay Small created Arey because they wanted a proactive approach to dealing with grey hair. The collection also includes theNot Today, Grey supplement and the To The Root hair serum. “Whenever we create a product we ask ourselves ‘does the world need this product?’ and I can confidently say that yes, the world needs this unique shampoo and conditioner that not only helps with aging hair, but also feels and smells amazing, making hair look its best,” said Conrad. According to Conrad, adding a shampoo and conditioner in conjunction with Arey’s core products will continue to slow the aging process of hair. For more on hair care, look here and here.
