Paul Tran, founder and CEO of Manscaped, has been named an Entrepreneur Of The Year 2022 Pacific Southwest Award winner, Ernst & Young LLP announced. 

 

Entrepreneur Of The Year is among the most preeminent competitive business awards for entrepreneurs and leaders of high-growth companies who think big to succeed. An independent panel of judges selected Tran based on his entrepreneurial spirit, purpose, growth and impact, among other core contributions and attributes.

 

“I am honored and humbled to join the ranks of so many esteemed award winners in the Entrepreneur of the Year program,” said Tran. “I’ve been an entrepreneur all my life, and if there is one thing that I've learned it is that while one person might start the idea, no one person can execute the entire vision. The vision of Manscaped has been realized by the hard work and dedication of our team, and I couldn't be prouder of our collective accomplishments.”

 

Tran launched Manscaped in 2016 and it quickly became the category creator of below-the-waist grooming, amassing millions of customers and fans within the $70 billion men’s grooming industry. He has since grown the company into a leading consumer lifestyle brand that solves grooming and self-care needs for a multigenerational set of men all over the world.

 

As a Pacific Southwest award winner, Tran will now be considered by the national independent panel of judges for the Entrepreneur Of The Year 2022 National Awards. National finalists and winners, as well as the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Overall Award winner, will be announced in November at the annual Strategic Growth Forum. The Entrepreneur Of The Year National Overall Award winner will then move on to compete for the EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year Award in June 2023.

 

The Entrepreneur Of The Year program has honored the inspirational leadership of entrepreneurs such as: Cherie Kloss of SnapNurse; Saeju Jeong of Noom; Joe DeSimone of Carbon, Inc.; Howard Schultz of Starbucks Coffee Company; and Jodi Berg of Vitamix, among others.
