Vegan Household and Personal Care Brand Safely Receives B Corp Certification

Sustainable home care company is expanding for 2023 with its plant-based products.

Safely, the plant-based cleaning brand founded by Kris Jenner and Emma Grede, has received certification as a B Corporation (B Corp).

All Safely products –  including laundry detergent, dish soap, hand soap, universal surface cleaner, scent diffusers, and more – are free of stabilizers, sulfates, parabens, phthalates, dyes, PFAS and animal byproducts, said the brand.

For sustainability, Safely’s packaging is currently 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR) material with the goal to be 100% PCR by 2025 and 100% sourced from ocean plastics by 2030.

“When we created Safely a little over two years ago, we were determined to raise the bar on plant-powered cleaning,” said Safely Co-Founder Emma Grede. “Since day one, we have committed to viewing our products and company from a holistic point of view. From the fragrances, ingredients, and packaging, to our Safely team and offices, we prioritize how we can do better by the planet and becoming a Certified B Corporation has reinforced our mission.”

Safely’s B Corp certification comes at an exciting time for the brand. As of Summer 2023, all Safely products are Green Seal Certified.

And, by the end of 2023, Safely products will be available in over 8,000 retailers nationwide.
