Kylie Cosmetics is entering the fragrance business. Cosmic Kylie Jenner debuted last week, just ahead of the all-important Mother's Day selling season. Described as a “skin-inspired scent,” the sweet, warm floral opens with star jasmine and blood orange. Middle notes include golden amber and red peony. The base features vanilla musk and cedarwood. The ambery floral is housed in a glass bottle, “designed to look like a piece of art from another world.” Cosmic Kylie Jenner price points range from $48 for 30ml to $60 for 50ml and $78 for 100ml. Refills are $78, too. An EDP pen spray retails for $26.
Critics say the launch of Cosmic Kylie Jenner represents a new maturity for the 26 year-old mother of two, who recently entered the adult beverage market with the launch of Sprinter, a fruit-flavored vodka.
