Actives International: appointed Darren Gilbert as director of sales for North America. His responsibilities include leading all direct sales and distributor efforts in addition to implementing overall sales strategies for the personal care and nutraceutical industries. Gilbert has been involved with specialty chemicals for almost 30 years and with the personal care industry for more than 20 years. His prior experiences include distributor management, new business development, product development and sales management. He previously held management positions at Lipo Chemicals, Seppic, Vivimed Labs, Diana Plant Sciences and Sinerga.
